Becc Ország is a finalist in the 65th Blake Prize with her drawing 'Announce your Kingdom (you can live forever)' 2017.
One of Australia’s longest standing and most prestigious prizes, The Blake Prize encourages conversations concerning faith, spirituality, religion, hope, humanity, social justice, belief and non – belief. This year there were 769 entrants hailing from Belgium, Germany, Greece, Norway, United States and United Kingdom and from every Australian state and territory. Orszag's work will be exhibited with the 80 finalists who have been selected for exhibition at the Casula Powerhouse from 12 May - 1 July. The winner of the $35,000 Blake Prize will be announced at the exhibition launch on 19 May 6-9pm.
